Welcome to BoloUp Go. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information when you use our global social application.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Registration Information

When you create a BoloUp Go account, we may collect the following information:

• Username, password, and email address
• Profile picture and profile information
• Mobile phone number (if you choose phone-based registration)

2.2 Usage Information

When you use BoloUp Go, we may automatically collect:

• Device information, including device model, operating system version, and device identifiers
• Log information, including feature usage, error logs, and service activity
• Location information, only if you grant permission

2.3 Advertising Identifier (AAID / IDFA / Google Advertising ID)

We collect your device's advertising identifier (such as the Google Advertising ID on Android or the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) on iOS). This is a unique, user-resettable, and non-personal identifier provided by your device's operating system.

Purpose of collection:

• To deliver personalized and contextual advertisements
• To measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns
• To control the frequency of ads you see
• To prevent ad fraud and improve ad performance

Data sharing:
We may share this advertising identifier with our advertising partners for the purposes described above. These third parties may combine the identifier with other information they have collected, but not in a way that directly identifies you.

2.4 Social Interactions

When you use social features such as chat rooms, video calls, and in-app games, interaction data (such as chat content and call session data) may be processed to support these features. This information is not publicly shared.

2.5 Face Data for Verification

Important Notice:

BoloUp Go does NOT perform biometric identification, facial recognition for identity purposes, facial authentication for login, or cross-service tracking.

What face data is and when it is used
Face data is processed only when you actively choose to use our optional verification feature. This data may include information derived from images or video of your face (such as facial landmarks or liveness attributes) and is used solely for a one-time, real-time verification.

Purpose of processing
Face data is processed exclusively for security and fraud prevention, including:

• Face Detection and Liveness Verification: To confirm that the submitted image represents a live human presence rather than a spoofed image or recording.
• Image Authenticity Verification: To confirm that the submitted image has not been manipulated or spoofed and is suitable for security and fraud prevention purposes.

What we do NOT do

• Identify you against a database
• Create or store reusable biometric templates
• Use face data for advertising, profiling, analytics, or tracking
• Track users across apps, websites, or services

The verification process is a single, isolated event.

User consent
Face data is processed only after you explicitly initiate the verification feature and provide the required consent.

Data retention
BoloUp Go does not retain face data. Original images and derived verification data are deleted immediately after the real-time verification process is completed and are not stored in our systems.

2.6 Beauty Enhancement Data

When you use beauty enhancement features, the following data may be processed:

• Real-time video or image data, processed locally on your device to apply beauty effects
• Beauty parameter settings, stored locally on your device to remember your preferences

Beauty enhancement processing is performed on-device by default. Original video or image data is not uploaded to our servers. Beauty-related data is used solely to provide the enhancement effects you select.

3. Information Protection

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures, including encryption and access controls, to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.

• Provide and maintain BoloUp Go services
• Enable app functionality and social features
• Provide customer support

5. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information.

8. Third-Party Processing

8.1 Face Verification Services (NetEase Yidun)

To support secure verification features, BoloUp Go integrates the NetEase Yidun SDK.

Which third party processes face data
Face data is shared exclusively with NetEase Yidun for real-time processing.

Purpose of sharing
Face data is shared solely to perform face detection, liveness verification, and image authenticity verification for security and fraud prevention purposes. This service is not used for biometric identification, identity authentication, advertising, or tracking.

Data handling and retention
NetEase Yidun acts strictly as a data processor and processes face data according to our instructions. We instruct NetEase Yidun not to retain or store original face images or derived verification data after real-time processing. Any limited data retention by NetEase Yidun, if required for security, legal compliance, or operational troubleshooting, is governed by NetEase Yidun’s privacy policy and does not involve reusable biometric templates. All data transmission is protected using secure methods such as encryption.

8.2 Beauty Filter and Enhancement Services (VOLC ENGINE)

To provide beauty and video enhancement effects, BoloUp Go integrates the VOLC ENGINE SDK. Processing occurs entirely on-device. No original video streams, images, or facial data are uploaded to external servers, and no persistent storage of facial data is performed by the SDK.
